How to make this game profitable in 2024
DC brought back a long dead mobile game recently called DC Worlds Collide.

It was previously only available in SEA but it has re-released in AUS & UK with the promise by DC of a "world-wide" release.

The original developer is no longer involved with the game and DC themselves have taken over the development. Whether that includes new features or just relaunching with everything previously developed is unknown. Active development team or skeleton maintenance mode team, who knows?

Infinite Crisis was developed by Turbine(USA) which is now Standing Stone Games(SSG).

If WB was able to relaunch Worlds Collide which was developed by a foreign company(Chinese) surely they could gain control + re-launch IC which was developed here in the US?

When IC first launched it was obviously not profitable even when selling $100 founder packs and $100 currency packs because the majority of the players were FTP.

My question is how in 2024 would it be possible to make this game profitable so that it's worth bringing back for WB?

A few starter heroes then charge $ for the rest?

Sell every hero making it a BTP and not FTP game?

A sub?

Are there any other ways to make a profit from this game if it relaunched with the exact same build as the day it shut down?

They should have just copied early LoL release route and it probably would have done just fine. They needed to release more hero's more quickly and then they could have gotten more monetization through skins and premium effects or something. Early LoL was awesome for having new champions every 2 weeks and even if something was OP you knew in 2 weeks it would change......good ole early LoL.

If it does ever get the chance to come back I would give them money for every skin for every hero I play to support it
