I have put in over 200 hours, I'm level 200, and i've caught over 8000 fish. I like this game. I do have some critiques. I did get to the point where I could no longer buy anything from the store and that felt really early. Now I just accumulate money with no way to spend it aside from the mouse store.

I have caught over 8000 fish, only 2 have been shiny. I think this is pretty crazy that the rates are this low. I do buy everything from the mouse store every time he comes and I usually have 4 to 5 potions going at once.

The catch rates for some of the fish needed for completion are way too low. Again, I have spent a long time on this game but I can imagine that for all the fish to appear to complete the achievements it would take thousands of hours.

I suggest to keep the game more playable for the long term:

Make a math-based increasing store and leveling system that allows you to continue progressing and improving.

Add a fishing speed upgrade that works to also decrease bite times and catch times.

Show a timer for when mouse store will return.

Show catch rates for each fish.

Show before value and leveled up X value for fish. Example: Bass (Level 3 X 1.3, Shiny Rate X 1.25) or something.

If bite time is fixed a timer for that would be cool especially if you could improve it over time.

For example an ideal 300 hours progress for me would be: I can now hold 1500 fish in inventory, my bite times are now once every 3 seconds, I see that Bass is level 13 and I earn 130 bucks for it instead of 10. I am saving up for the 2.5 second bite time upgrade which is 1.7 million. I have purchased auto catch for A-D tier fish. I have purchased auto sell for A-D tier fish. I have potions that let me catch 2 fish with one catch. The mouse shop is always present and I can buy any item but their costs go up each time and get reset every 24 hours.

Fish love me, shinies hate me.
How can I report the rat for market manipulation? There's no way he only had one legendary potion on stock in 100 hours.

I bought this game for about 10 people since it's so unknown for how great of a game it actually is and it is priced very generously. Unfortunately, there are a few fish you cannot catch while afk (some of the S legendaries, and most of the S+ epic and legendary fish), but not every achievement is meant to be afk'd. Though, I wish there was more you could do with Shiny's as right now they're nothing more then a minor inconvenience when selling.

If you've ever enjoyed idler games this game is among the best in that business and the system demand is so small you'll forget you have it open and you'll run out of bait. Since I started playing more cosmetics have been added as well as changes to make it easier on newer players (Locations no longer cost money to unlock, just to travel to)

Undeniably, there are some features other idlers have that I believe should be added to the game, but the game is very new and those are minor gripes and grievances. The game is updated quite frequently, and many of the bugs that had plagued me earlier on in the experience have already been fixed. Some of them the same day I first encountered them. As long as the devs continue their support of the game, the game will continue to have my support.
