Kings Quest chapter 2 - stuck

The bakers are dead and I need to bake the cake using the flour and other ingredients I’ve gathered so I can get rid of the last guard in the room with the caged girl. There’s no way to get into the bakers cage to do it myself. Help.

There are three ways to get out of the prison. If the bakers can't help you any more, try the wizards or the blacksmith. They both have options to help you out.

The wizards are dead. The blacksmith is guarded by goblins. I got rid of all of them but one. The one remaining wants something to eat and apparently it needs to be baked and then I can add the poison to it. But I can’t bake anything without the bakers. What am I supposed to feed the goblin?
