Game Crashes - Chapter 3

Game crashes/ freezes during chapter 3. Right after you finish doing the dance the goblin lady and the scene changes. Games just freezes up. Have to log out or restart computer to get rid of it from computer. Need help with solution.

Not sure I'll get much help considering the age of the game and lack of activity.....but worth a shot. Thanks regardless.

Hey dude, yeah the game is pretty old and has been abandoned by Activision. Anyways, let's start with your specs about PC? I hoping you've done all of the basic steps like verifying cache and (very important) run the game under Windows 7 or Windows 8 compatibility only if you have windows 10....

I ended up getting it working again, I had to clear the Steam cache and it got working again thankfully.

I am having the same issue in Chapter 3. Clear the cache has no effect for me and I can not locate the exe file to set up compatibility.

The .exe is located in:

Steam\steamapps\common\King's Quest\Binaries\Win
