[Solved] Adding a video

Hello!

I tried to follow a guide about how to upload a video using macros, and no luck so far.

I tried adding the mp4 video as a background image, but it says that it's impossible. Is there a way to add a video to the novel without using macros?

EDIT: Sorry, I was looking an old guide, that's why I couldn't figure out how to fix it.

Just to make sure, is this supposed to work?

Add background --> Add video file (I tried webm, mp4 and ogv) --> Show background.

When I play the VN, it says taht it's not possible. Am I doing it wrong?

Actually, have you tried adding it regularly? I got it to work by putting in the "play video" content. Simply add a video componenet and make sure to add the video to it's rightful place in videos.

I tried the macros as well and was unsuccessful. Couldn't quite figure that one out.

Add your button components either right before or right after with the stop component at the end. I got it to work just like that, but I'm not sure if that's what you want or not.
