Can Tyrano do this kind of sprite animation?

I'd love to be able to easily have random blinking and automatic mouth movements while talking (I'm not a scripter/coder in any sense).

It's pretty much the only thing I like about VN Maker at the moment, but I'd rather have Tyrano's other customization options

It'd be a great feature to have and honestly, it shouldn't be terribly difficult to implement in TB's framework, but unfortunately, that doesn't exist in TB right now. You'd basically have to combine your sprite files into a GIF instead to get the effect. Granted, that's not super difficult - you can use stuff some EZGif to compile and determine the timing, then just upload the gif file as a character asset.

At this point I'd be willing to try anything. I'm just hoping I can maintain good quality with gif.

I made the huge mistake of going ahead in VN Maker so I could use this feature and my game is really short and simple. Now it's eaten/corrupted all that hard work and I wish I had just started here instead...

I'd say try animated PNG, but I just tested that and it doesn't seem like TB recognizes the animation. Bummer, but you can decent quality out of GIF these days, especially if you don't have to use a lot of compression.
