Correct Size for sprites? *HELP*
So.. i created a sprite for my first visual novel, i set my project to be 1280x720.
The problem is, my sprites always got resized and it lost it's aspect ratio. how do i fix this?
My original canvas size was A4, it exceed 720p, then i tried to resize it to 720p. still get stretched, whats the correct resolution for sprites? thanks before :D

The issue you are facing is your making the sprites the same size as the whole project window so tyranobuilder is going to try to make it smaller to keep it displayed, if you want to manually resize it so that it keeps an aspect ratio that you desire you could change the height and width from the join scene component setters before using the placement tool

For sizing sprites consider your width and height of the project so if 1280x720 would make the character completely cover the background you likely want something that is 1/6th of that or smaller so you can have other characters on the scene with them. One of our characters you can use from the projects tab under "asset library" is named yuko and her sprites are 400x500 but that is with transparency so the character part is more like 350x100

thank you for the quick reply, i was experimenting while back, tyranobuilder won't resize a 1:1 aspect ratio, i tried 1000x1000 for my image in a 1280x720 project, it doesn't resize, works fine if it's 1:1. thank you for your answer! i'll try not go beyond the resolution boundaries!
