Bladed lance?
Beat Aeronite and ended quest but didn't get it. do you have to buy it or something?

It's a reward from the quest to kill all Last Ones.

I think there is a garb reward from the barter shop, tied to the Aeronite achievement.

No, there is also a garb reward, not just adornment.

if there is I don't see it. maybe it'll pop on some other day or when I get back to the ark. all i see now is the hat though. Day 7 btw

I take it back. The garb reward may have been from the other superboss. Can someone else confirm?

Other Superboss doesnt give garb, only accessory, and I miss only 1 achievement(30 upgrade accessories) and i haven't got any garb from achievements yet.
Edit: Ultimatus Garb is from other super boss(Ereshkigal), i already forgot that

You get the bladed lance for the Last Ones quest and Aeronite counts as a last one, so yes you must kill him to get the lance but killing him alone is not good enough.

Aeronite doesn't have to be killed for "the last ones", Erishkigal does..but not Aeronite

Edit- Not even sure Erishkigal does now. Piggy back guide says "respawnable enemies" so who knows.
