Ah yes fullmetal I actually hated fullmetal ending it feels like they left us hanging lol

Was really hoping the new world created was Spira or some other FF world. Making it Earth just seemed too much of a non-attempt.

Wouldn't have to write it in directly to that game's events, just show the world of spira with a few recognisable landmarks and job done.

We are talking about the same ending that had light wield a giant light blade of friendship in the middle of space.

the onyl good part was newgame+. ignoring hte story compeltely and trying to beef up lightning is the fun part. the combat etc can be quite fun

I appreciate the translation link, very interesting. Doesn't fix FF13 being a creation story for earth though. It's almost like a cliched facebook story.

This is one thing that annoyed me greatly as well when the game first came out.

In my mind, the fact that everything gets destroyed and then their plopped onto earth... It's one step away from making the whole trilogy "Just a Dream".

It also ruins the whole "Final Fantasy" feeling for me. The games are designed to take place in their own isolated universes. I don't mind crossovers, time travel, etc, but keep in fantasy please...

actually as s**y as the story was. FF:LR is the only game that is actually a "final fantasy" as everyone dies at the end, there is no happy ending hahahaha.
