Graphical bug with Lightning's hair.
On R9 Fury and i5 6600k.
Stable 60, doesn't seem to have any other problem besides Lightning's hair looking like this. I've fixed it temporarily by going to CCC and changed AA filter to edge detect. Every other option doesn't seem to fix it, I've tried them all.
However, after going to the 1st town after leaving the sky hub thingy, glitch returned again and this time it appears that messing with CCC doesn't fix it this time. This is highly distracting. Does anyone else experience this?
In-game settings are all on advanced and changing these also does not fix the issue.

Seems to be AMD related.

More like a R9 300 series problem related. I'm using a R9 290 and I don't have this problem. Are you guys using the latest beta drivers?
ExoGeni92 Dec 11, 2015 @ 2:33pm
Yeah i use the Beta 15.11.1 version. have the R9 380 4GB

Also, it seemed to work fine the first launch? And then after that the hair messed up.

I have a 380 with latest beta drivers.

The Game uses SMAA like the previous installements because the Hair uses Transparency Textures and without SMAA, the Hairs and the Eyes are broken.

Means, go to the Graphic Driver Settings and set AA to default or change it so the Game decides what to use.

Hair looks fine for me on an HD 7950 (15.11.1 beta driver, Win 10). Like Luminous said, make sure you're not forcing any global AA through CCC (everything set to "let game decide") or any other third party programs.

Or it could just be a bug - I vaguely remember hair/eyes being messed up on AMD cards back when FFXIII first launched last year, but they quickly patched it.

I tried some configs on CCC but have "no" effect example the AA.

SMAA is post-process AA, though i assume you've meant MSAA which indeed was the case.

Instead of starting a new thread, I figured I'd bump this one. It's the only one I'm finding upon searching Google. Has there been any discoveries on how to remedy this issue. Also bugs me that this game has more FPS drops than GTA... feel like this should be a hands down, easy-to-maintain 60 FPS considering GTA is for me for he most part.

R9 380 Nitro, 4Gb
FX 8320
