Gysahl Greens farming bug

Sometimes when Farming for Gysahl greens the farm patch will either 1) refuse to acknoledge that a seed was planted, 2) Refuse to spawn a green after 6 hours have passed, or 3) Spawn a green visually but be unable to pick it up after 6 hours have passed. It makes performing certain challenge runs almost impossible since you can't farm greens as efficiently as possible sometimes. I know of at least 2 other people experiencing this, but I'm wondering just how widespread it is.

I lost the ability to interact with two of the Gysahl green patches so at the end of the game I could only get 2 every 6 hours. I don't think anything was spawned visually. I also had the problem several times with the game not acknowledging that a seed was planted (both Gysahl and Tantahl patches) and I had to plant it a second time before it would tell me I had to wait for the green to grow.

I can confirm this. I lost 1 patch of gysahl during mid game, and lost another one approaching late game. I only have 2 patches of gysahl now. Dammit Sarala.

I never needed more than 1-2 of them in each playthrough to get odin to max health. Just go eat the yeuls instead and keep 1-2 milks from previous playthroughs.

I noticed this as well. Needed ine more gysahl green for the last greens related canvas quest and the patch seems to have just dissapeared.

Is there any where else i can plant greens to make gysahl? Just need one more

Yep, happened to me too. I came Across 2 "issues"/solutions to this.
This did happen to me after i wanted to plant one new seed but clicked two times.
So solution would be to be patient when harvesting/planting the crops.
Other solution would be, as the bug started in midgame, to harvest in the early game.
I dont think that SE qill patch this in the near future.

Didn't happen to me, planted many greens in all the patches, Gysahl, Tantal, and Sylkis.

I don't want to just immediately jump and call people out for alleged cheating, but with similar issues happening for people who use cheat tables to freeze time, I wouldn't rule that out for a cause.

Hey Scarlet, I never use cheats as I think it spoils the point of playing a game. However, unfortunately it does seem there is a bit of a bug with the vegetable patches, mine stopped working now and again. A bit annoying.

There's also a bug which causes the Dead Dunes Cactuar Stones to occasionally teleport you to the wrong place.

I think Square accidentally jiggled some of the wrong code around when porting this version, and as the bugs don't always happen they must have slipped passed quality control testing.

Right, I get that, sammy, that's why I didn't just come right out and say it for certainty. I just don't know how I lucked out and ran into exactly zero issues throughout the whole game. No crashes, no glitching, no missing garbs/items/etc., nothing I've seen posted about here. But it's also possible their quality folks are just as lucky as me, or something. I don't know.

I have encountered the same glitch. No mods, cheats, or anything else used; just the vanilla game.

Some of the vegetable patches (in my game notably 2/4 of the Gysahl patches) randomly became unusable over the course of the first seven days. First, one of them stopped working, then a second one.

I've encountered the Cactuar statue teleport glitch as well, some of the destinations not working correctly. Usually happens with the top three destinations in the list, sometimes transporting me to a different one than listed.

Yeah you're probably right, plus it's still a great game :)

Once I pressed 'Cancel' in the destiantion list and it still telported me somewhere haha.

This just happened to me, disabling a patch in Canopus Farms the very first time I ever planted seeds. :(

I know you don't want to cheat, but I'd say just give yourself 99 (or however many you technically lost) of them and stop worrying about it.

Personally I never had any problems with any of the patches, but I only recently got the cactuar statue teleport glitch (just the once, mind), so it might yet happen.
