I am glad I'm not the only one who enjoys this combat system over all other FF series. Because the combat puzzles are so engaging, customizing attack skills and multiplier. Lightning Returns has been my favorite single player game of the past few years.

FF XV combat puzzles are garbage. "Press and HOLD button to attack and parry". Yet players deems XV as the BEST FF in the series. I think not.

I havent played XIII 3 yet, but I completed XIII and XIII 2. I have played all the final fantasies from 4 until XIV (except XI), and the battle system on XIII (the original) is the best one I have experienced so far. Super challenging, and you had to figure out how to choose your characters, how to arrange their paradigms, and when to attack as well and when to wait or defend. The stagger system was great. This way people wouldnt just mash the same attacks over and over for hours and at the end kill the enemies. They had to think an strategy to beat them. Even more if you wanted to get those 5 star ratings.

It took them 5 years to release FF XIII on PC after its ps3 original date, so prepare to be reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaally patient.

Or just get a ps4 pro and enjoy it right now :)

thats cause it is. it is far better then 7, you just need to GIT GUD

There isn't a single auto feature in the battle system.
