FIX TO CAMPAIGN CRASHING!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey everybody, recently found a fix to constant campaign crashes. Before whenever there was a battle with large armies it would crash, now it is perfect. Go to options and change the resolution away from 800x600 or whatever the default is (I personally changed mine to the 3rd highest resolution). I have played 4 campaigns now without a single crash!

I have mine set to my monitor's native resolution, 2560x1440. Are you suggesting that I lower it? Presently, the campaign WILL crash somewhere around 30-50 turns in no matter what.

worked for me, i switched from 800x600 to 1080p and crashes went away

Thanks, I'll try that. So perhaps it's the fixes to MTWs resolution handling that's causing the crashes? Still, CA should patch the game once more.

Yes, this fixed the game for me also. I had abandoned two campaigns that simply would not work any longer. But they're playing perfectly now! Thanks!

I have 768p (1366x768) display on my laptop, so I set the maximum display resolution for both world map and battle map. And no crashes after!

That might explain why the re-emerging pope always crashes the game. I should explore that solution.

my default resolution is at 1366 x 768 - so what should I put it at? The lowest is 800x600, 1024x768, 1280x720, 1280x768, 1360x768
