They said they would make shogun and medieval compatible with new OS. I don't see a reason for releasing the games if no one can even play them, I mean who even has windows 2000 or XP anymore? So yes, they should be compatible with all new OS, ignore this other guy.

What version number is your game on Steam? I have 1.01 from Gamersgate, and it is glitchy on Win 7-x64.

Yeah I have the Gamersgate version and it doesn't work on Windows 8.1-x64

the game version is 1.02 or something, it worked fine on my win7 64

My old CD has all sorts of glitches, but thanks to the new refund policy, I may as well check this out.

Ok, so they are giving us an old version on Gamersgate then. It's 1.01

I have physical copy of Medieval TW 1 and works really good on my Win7 64bit.
and dont worry, Shogun 1 and Medieval 1 already patched years ago to work on
modern Windows versions,

I can confirm because my game is 2.01 version with Vikings DLC Gold edition
its my disks from 2000s and still works due to ultimate DVD Box cover.

Now I'm going to buy on Steam because I want 9k hours gametime record on my
Steam profile ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

The game won't boot up for me (Win7 64 bit). It says "Graphics card not supported," and I can't seem to figure out how to fix the issue. Drivers are already updated. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Probably Intel HD graphics. they are crappy and not a real GPU.

You should buy an GTX 590 at least if you want good experience for most popular
PC Games.

Yes, but I meet the requirements for the game. Plus it runs Rome: Total War great. I imagine it should still work (somehow) with this.
Works fine on my setup - Win 7 64, GeForce 460
