I think a recent update may have broken a file or something
There are certainly incompatibilities between the game and some components of newer PC's, and from reading the post on this forum, it looks like at least some of the problems were introduced only recently.
Are there any plans to fix this problem at all?
try running compatibility mode then? maybe its something to do less /w windows 10, & more dx 10, 11, 12?
game runs for me on both windows 10 & vista laptops i own. havent tried w7 yet.
if you own a copy of windows 7 you could always run virtuabox? windows visata, xp, not so easy to do. ;)
theres also
http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/p/?LinkId=526740 although ive not tried using it on windows 10
used to use
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=7352 for previous versions of windows & 3d apps that wern't behaving themselves. :)
