Too hard an unfair Gameplay with first Spider Boss (Brood Mother Mordra)

I find it to difficult to master the Brood Mother.

- She hits to hard
- to many eggs around her with to many Spiders which do a lot of damage
- and as extra hard special an orange spider which attacks me too

after 4-5 tries i am frustrated. That's not funny and stuck me in Gameplay!

May farm better items but i doubt you'll do it.

Mordra is balanced for lvl 5 (or higher) characters. The entrance of her dungeon will be level restricted in the next patch.

I had probs with that boss too. I was trying to kill the eggs first but then i got surrounded with more spiders and ended up getting killed. And i'm on lvl 11. :)

I never give up :-) there must be a way. I figure out that i was at level 4 on my tries.....now i would do some other things to gain exp.....

Whatever you do, don't focus on the boss as long as the minions and mini-bosses are active.

Especially when you encounter it for the first times, it's no shame to die right there.

Took me several attempts and strategies aswell.

Back when I was lvl 5 or less i beated her with all the challenges. But i Admitm the game is hard and unforgiving on some of the challenges.

I was able to do this at lvl 4. I had a Scythe with 30% dmg to spiders. To top that I used the berserk aura spell with after I grabbed the x2 dmg buff in the dungeon. Once the berserk aura was finished just pop an Aether Vial to instantly get back your Over Drive to pop the aura once more.

Just be careful not to get caught by the mini bosses, they will stun you for the boss to hit you. Get caught and you are dead.

Yep, at first i thought it was too difficult, but i tried and i think it's an interesting fight because it's hard... it's force you to think, i enjoyed it, don't change that, it's cool ^^

It was one of the best boss fights I have seen in ARPGs! Many things to keep eye on and it required some skill (gotta keep moving, dodging, using pretty much all of the skills). I don't know if they toned it down already but I was able beat her at lvl 5 with the first attempt so it wasn't too hard. Very cool and enjoyable fight :)

We haven't nerfed it down. The entrance is restricted to level 5, though.

4-5 tries isn`t much. In a lot of games i tried to kill bosses 30 times or more and I still was motivated.
I didn`t buy it yet but I am really looking forward to the final release and I really really hope its hard to beat otherwise I would lose motivation pretty fast.

Easy 1st time kill.
Level 5
Scythe + Shotgun + Meteor
Crit + Aoe explosion on crit cards

Ran around killing all the eggs, if ever too many spiders got to me, scythe daze, spin to win, shotgun aoe blast, speed run away, back to scythe clearing eggs.

Agreed... very well designed level and the overwhelming number of eggs and spiders really forced you to try different approaches.
