Victor Vran Roadmap
Thanks for the overwhelming positive response to our Early Access launch, guys! You rock!

Here is our current plan for the development of Victor Vran during Early Access and beyond. Keep in mind that we will change priorities and add features based on your feedback. Balance changes and bug-fixes are not described in this roadmap and will happen continuously throughout Early Access.

1.00 Early Access Launch
  • Tutorial
  • Fully functional combat
  • Play with keyboard and mouse or with Xbox gamepad
  • 4 Weapon types - Sword, Shotgun, Hammer, Rapier
  • 2 game zones and their dungeons
  • Map Challenges
  • Level capped to 10
  • Hexes
  • Destiny Cards
  • Demonic Powers
  • Outfits
  • Placeholder introduction and quests

1.01 Content Update
  • New game zones and their dungeons (We plan to nearly double the existing content in this update)
  • New monsters
  • New weapon type
  • Codex UI - a compendium for monsters, weapons and information for the game world
  • Legendary weapons introduction - the rarest and most special weapons with custom effects not available elsewhere in the game
  • Level cap increased to 15

1.02 Multiplayer update
  • Working cooperative multiplayer
  • New zone and dungeons (smaller update this time)
  • New weapon type - Scythe

1.03 Content update - Current Version
  • Story and main quest
  • New weapon type
  • New zone and dungeons
  • New monsters
  • Level cap increased to 50.
  • Mac version
  • Linux version
  • DirectX 9 support that will allow the game to run on older graphic cards
  • Performance optimizations

Race to Release - Weekly Updates
  • Steam Trading Cards (released)
  • Steam achievements (released)
  • Transmutation (released)
  • Full Soundtrack (released)
  • All game areas and monsters (released)
  • More legendary weapons (released)
  • Elite Challenges (released)
  • Hard Mode (released)
  • English Voices (released)
  • Cutscenes (released)
  • German localization and voices (released)
  • PvP Arena (released)
  • An endless battleground (released)
  • Bounties and Treasure Hunts (released)

2.0 Release (targeted for this summer)
  • All translations. The currently confirmed localization languages are German, French, Spanish, Russian and Portuguese (Brazilian).
  • More polish, bug-fixes and changes based on months of Community feedback

Post-release plans
We plan to continue to update and improve Victor Vran with free major updates post-release. It is still too early to talk about our post-release plans in details, though.

Edit (8th July 2015): Updated level cap number, released PvP and PvE arenas

Great! Thanks for the information! I guess it's too early for a tentavtive release time for 1.01? Really hyped for the legendary weopons!

Will there be more outfits, hexes and demon powers also?

Yes, there are other destiny cards that become available after level 10.

Most of those are available in the current version, I believe. Of course, nothing is set in stone yet, we may decide to expand these mechanics and create more items based on the feedback received from you guys.
Can you confirm / deny that 1.01's weapon type will be a wizardlike weapon ?:P

Only 20 levels? Seems like we would need more based on the size of the game when its finished?

Soon. Ish. Seriously, I can't give you anything definite yet, but I will post as soon as we have an ETA for the update.

Yes, the currently planned max level is 20. Keep in mind that levels past 10 are gained a lot harder and slower than those before 10 and that we have plans for end-game content outside character progression.

I am sure Hexes will bridge the gap.
