Game Mechanics Guide?
Is there a good game guide or wiki that goes deep into the game mechanics? A guide that could explain things like, what does armor actually protect against and how much. Item and effect stacking. A complete breakdown of all game effects.

Armor protects against anything except effects that ignore armor (demon powers).
All effects stack together, you can have brutality, focus, etc. etc. Your enemy can be vulnerable, slowed, crippled etc. etc.

What else do you want to know?

a pretty good guide (if you don't need exact numbers in it) is the in-game codex the game always wants you to open (can find it under ESC-> Codex).

effects with the same source or value don't stack there effects (a.e. multiple speed boosts still give the same bonus as a single boost) but instead stack the time they last (so ).
the same for vulnerable, slowed, focus,. ....
one exception is brutality since the demon power gives a different value then the effect you can get in any other way. there effects do stack but the have separate timers.

Thanks.

How is the damage reduction of armor calculated? I tried using a high armor build with 240 armor. It didn't seem to do much of anything compared to my zero armor builds.

How would two 5 point justice cards stack? One gives thorns for 30 seconds, so would two give thorns for 60 seconds?

The Oak card increases buff duration. Are all beneficial effects from any source (potions, destiny cards, etc.) considered buffs including health regen?

pls take a look at the codex.
like it says: armor increases the chance to block most of the damage. so it might be that you just got unlucky.

all thorn cards have the same effect. so yes (like I said) the time stacks, but just like multiple moon cards they aren't all activated at the same time.

that's with all cards that have a cd and are triggered by something. a.e. 2 of those make it so you can trigger the action two times instead of 1 before you have to wait for the cd.

and about the Oak card: I'm not sure if the effects from brutality aura and regen aura also get a longer time but all the effects from any other source get it.

Cards triggering independant of each other is particularly useful information.
