Overkill with crit strikes? Nah
Hello!

Why critical strikes doesn't count in the overkill condition? It makes challenges with overkilling enemies soooo random, because I can make a champ bleeding, then wait till an enemy gets 1-10 hp and after that I'm taking some hammer, casting jump skill and .... critical strike, goodbye challenge, it was last champ in this location :rfacepalm:

Maybe, the champion died from Bleeding moments before your strike, or you scored a critical hit but the Armor of the monster deflected a big portion of the damage. The critical hits will cause Overkill when they deliver significantly more damage than the remaining HP of the monster.

jump is not good for overkill use charge attack it gives armor penetration and 2x times more stronger that jump attack

Shouldn't this be impossible, since bleeding effect says can't kill?

or did you change that in one if the last updates?

Skills with Critical strike can't deal enought damage to armored enemies to make overkill? How is the armor stat working? Is it absorbs a percent of damage or something else? And how is the armor Hex stacking with native armor?

Nope, we didn't change it, that was a mistaken notion. He just forgot about the no death from bleeding. ;)
Crits do overkill.

Reasons why it could fail:
Low damage - stated above
Armor deflects - stated above
Not real champion - if you play on hard or have active hex of somthing - enemies can randomly become champions. This 'new' champions DON'T count towards challenges progression.

Ye I did it one time. But i'ts not about dmg as i see so it's broken. One time i did 3k dmg and got overkill and one time did 15k and nope. GG EZ

I did it, thx for help, but it still does not always work and don't match correctelly with dmg done in my opinion.

Get a shotgun, practice inflicting vulnerable with it, stack legendary rogue cards (+150% crit dmg). Then shoot, inflict vulnerable, aim = overkill. The next hit on a vulnerable target is always a crit, so you can play with it. Lower your target's health if needed, but usually you get a massive amount of damage this way, so it works for most critters.

Some base damage bonuses are always helpful as well.
