Is there some kind of penalty after you die and click reborn instead of returning to castle?

only while grouped with others, otherwise you just start at the last checkpoint (like if everyone dies)

I think there should be an option to turn on a "lose xp on death" feature, so long as it is only for your current level. why? because this is a level-scaling game, and dying would actually HELP keep you from overlevelling :)
