im not sure if i agree VR is gimmick, if you still thing vr is gimmick,
you are missing a really big boat, like i said, once you play this game in VR (i play this on my DK2), suddenly this game is way way way intense, it feel as if you are inside of the dungeon itself, genuine scare, feel so isolated, so claustrhopobic, very legit game. so vr is no gimmick to me
I haven't played this, but I've played Dreadhalls and VR make this kind of game. Dreadhalls is fantastic in VR!
Do you tend to engage in combat in this game? Dreadhalls is scary in VR, but there's no combat.
Do you mean it has a mode to turn jump scares on and off?
If so, then presumably it;s best standing, win which case, how do you walk? I find walking ok when seated but can be wierd when you're standing and the image is moving.
Does anyone know how this plays on the Oculus Rift without controllers?
So I'd imagine if you're using a rift, you can get by with a gamepad.
