Anyone got army ratios for armies?
"I've been trying to find information on army ratios online, but so far, all I've come across is vague and general language. Which at best general idea of what to do and at worse useless.

Doesn't look like there is any mechanism regarding ratios like in eu4, because every Unit Type is using frontage.

It is just center=infantry, flanks=cavalry and artillery due to the appropriate bonus up to max frontage

Early pieces of artillery looks extremely weak for combat and if you have enough units and some reserve it looks like it's better to keep artillery in reserve to make it not take place of a useful unit in a front.
All I've gathered in regards to armies is:
Early game = Levies are king, some unique units might be better/worth getting
Mid game = Cavalry peaks, but does not scale well into late
Late game = Cavalry falls off hard, infantry is king,

Sprinkle in artillary when needed for forts, one might get good millage with enough infantry to fill a line and the rest artillery for the memes.

Heard there is also success in having lots of cavalry on one flank to quickly break a lane and gang up on the last 2 but infantry late game is far more reliable.

Guess we'll need to see when people do testing or if patches change stuff up more but that's the logic I'll be working by for now.
Early game artillery you'll want 750 for max siege bonus (+5), I add in a few supply carts and a few cheap infantry units so the army doesn't get stackwiped if it gets into battle. Otherwise it's usually a small army of around 3000 that I use only for sieges, my main army consistent of levies are usually behind my siege army protecting it and catching nearby enemy armies. Next tech I usually increase the size of my standing army and add in about 2000-4000 cavalry depending on my economy.

I will keep that in mind, thanks for the info. I guess I will keep researching with different players on the matter.
