Unable to change succesion law of junior partner
I can't negotioate the succesion law of my junior partners, even tho i have implemented unified succesion laws.

My Heir hasn't produced a male heir so his brother would inherite, but my junior parrtners have a female child of him as the new heir. I will lose my 5 unions if i do not produce a new heir. I have enacted the unified succession law but they still have their own one.

Yeah this is extremely annoying. The diplomacy option always fails even if you got positive reasons. Any union members that join after you've enacted the policy seem to be impossible to keep right now. The union menu says something about having their integration enforced via the parliament, but there are no parliament interactions that do this either.
OMFG I THINK I JUST FOUND IT.

Go to the union menu. You see two tabs? Overview and Union Policies. There's an INVISIBLE TAB WITH NO TEXT ON IT TO THE RIGHT OF UNION POLICIES, CLICK IT.

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hell paradox, I thought your UI was atrocious, this is next level.
OMG THANK YOU SO MUCH I JUST STARTED THE PARLIAMENT, will report if it solves the issue
Update: bc of my locked succesion law as Austria, it did not help. it seems my succesion law cannot be applied to my unions and neither theirs to mine :steamfacepalm:
It worked for me, but I have favored son succession law, as byzantines.
You can change your own succession law with the little icon (of a tree) under your heir in the government/country menu. IDK if yours is locked as Austra, though.
yeah i have a locked succession law as Austria, but my Chad Ruler just produced a male heir at 54 years old and now my unions are safe again :D
