Yes it looks awful, so ducking cluttered. The only positive thing about the UI is that it's not light mode like Imperator so my eyes are not burn to a crisp.

yes its too overloaded with stuff, also i am not a fan of this nested tooltips, eu 4 ui was nearly perfect, why change things that worked good

The UI is really really bad EUIV had regal gold and blue in dark hues this is way too colourful

Yes, I have the impression that the game is even less beautiful than the 4th. Old style, but not in retro mode, more in sloppy small independent production mode. The depth will save it I hope.

The UI/UX looks/feels like old EU2/EU3.
I looked at the screenshots and my first reaction was "wtf, that can't be it, looks so bad".

The game complexity might be going up but bad UX will bury it

I agree, the UI was the first thing that jumped out at me.

It looked, for a want of a better word, like most "modern UIs" which are too clean. It's a historical game and should have a historical character in my opinion. It just looks like modern Civ games.

Would be a minor thing really, but in a EU game you're going to spend a lot of time looking at the UI!

not sure why these new games coming out with terrible UI. Civilization crashed and burned on that one too
