Economy Stuck around 28-35 ducats per month as muscovy (1469)
Ive tried to urbanize and make a ton of cities and demand. Been building roads like crazy and selling works of art to pump my shi. How can I break through this?

Next to southern perm are two provinces i believe who have to be colonized that offer 3-4 gold mines and other metals. I havent done a strategy yet, but i think it would be a massive boon for Muscovy to get there as soon as possible to colonize and populate the provinces to get people working in the gold mines. Those alone should bring your economy into a state of not ever worrying about it again.

I am also not sure how efficient cities are in 1.4 anymore. Urbanization got nerfed quite a bit.

I would also suggest showing screenshots of your whole economy, because we dont know what exactly you did, so we cant really give advice when we dont know where the problem is.

Ok, so getting Legitimacy to 100 will give you a small boost immediately.

Diplomatic Spending can also be lowered, even completely. I dont see many subjects or something for you to need to spend 18 ducats on it.

Your building maintenance is quite high, i assume you got a lot of armories?

Your army seems too big for the manpower you have, so that seems to be a significant problem. I only assume here but i guess you built a lot of armories to get a professional army going and then built an army too big to handle for those armories. I do not suggest building more armories but decrease your army and your armories.

Also, do you have a local governor already? I kind of doubt it since Tver is your only other city i see here, and that is too near to Moscow, so a local governor wouldnt do much. As Muscovy you want to annex Novgorod and then put a local governor down there.

I have around 5-10 subjects that I thought I should have the diplo spending for as I want to annex some slowly. I had novgorod for a while as a subject and then they rebelled and lithuania kicked my ass and i lost them so its a wip.

I have a LOT of marketplaces and honestly I think i spammed them a bit much. As that is probably my biggest problem. I tried to build a big army cause i was a bit ambitious and wanted to dominate but now its costing a lot of money.

I currently have 2 max local gov spots, so Im gonna do one in Nov and then one more south after I do a bit more conquesting (Currently at war with kazan so I can get closer to those gold mines).

Ill get my Legitimacy up to 100 first and then Ill start looking at buildings that I may not need so many of.
Sounds good, but dont get too big or else your wealth is running away from your tax base. In your situation i would focus on going north into Novgorod and establish your local governor there. Its something that should be done quite early, in the best case before 1400. Just a suggestion for the next time you play Muscovy.

And yeah, a massive amount of marketplaces is likely the biggest problem when it comes to your economy. But its nothing you cant easily fix. I believe you should be able to reach around 80-100 ducats a month with a little fine tuning.

You doing good for someone with just 130 hours in the game.
I haven't played in a while but it seems like you can't tax your nobility very well. You have it set to 45% satisfaction but their maximum tax is blocking you from raising it very high. So lower your nobility power as much as possible by diluting it with clergy and other class privileges, removing their privileges when possible, and enacting things like curtail nobility and favor nobility to get more from them.
Take Novgorod Area and put a governor there and also South in Volga river its full of wool you can put another governor there and in Urals its full of Iron and Gold, just follow Russia expansion and keep control up in important regions and your income will increase, and keep urbanizing to increase demand of expensive goods
