Typer Shark! Deluxe

Typer Shark! Deluxe

Typer Shark 2
This game is simply the most fun you could possibly have while typing that has ever been made. A sequel with updated graphics would be an incredible investment.

Game is super fun. On Windows 7/8 it has issues. On Windows XP I guess it should work fine. So perhaps running XP in vm or using Windows XP Mode may help... There is also other games that doesn't work fine on Windows 7/8, so perhaps it may be worth trying. But anyway it's a pain.

Having an update for this game would be super cool, like updated graphics(Full HD support), working fine on Windows 7/8.

Despite those painful issues, game is still cool.

Hadn't had any issues with this game so far, but I am loving it. I would love a sequel to this game as well. Maybe an typing game with RPG elements. That would be fantastic in my opinion.

I got the original typing of the dead years ago after seeing it on gamesmaster (I think) If I could spare enough cash I would give the revamp a go, but I got this as a budget option, pity about the compatibility issues but I still love it. :ss13ok:

There is a way to add your own words. I used to do it back when this game first came out in 2003. Fun to add your own words to the game. If you want to add some it is really easy. Go to, C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Typer Shark Deluxe\data\twords, it is just a simple text file so just open it. The words go in order of number of characters.

Epistory is the closest thing on steam right now. A sequel to this would be great, though.

There is a sequel--it just isn't as good as the original:

I first fell in love with this game when it appeared as a mini-game as part of the Typing Instructor Platinum program. When they updated Tying Instructor, this mini-game also got an update. However, I was actually quite disappointed by how they changed the game: (see artwork link belowr) The diver became a submergible, and the water became monochrome. Plus, no more "adventure"--just endless abyss diving. This, the original version, is definitely the best!
