Ruby Farm Location?

Rubies seem unnecessarily rare, seeing how they are neither purchaseable nor craftable, and so far as I've seen, have only been found as high-level quest rewards or in high-level dungeon chests. Every other gem is stealable or can be produced as a byproduct of dismantling.

Since money and scrap metal are no object, is there a particular enemy or dungeon where ruby drops are slightly higher? I've been trying to grind for level 4 weapons on every character so I can get their final charge achievements, but without rubies to get there, no luck.

From the wiki:

A Ruby is rewarded when getting a gold medal after finishing Snowboard Track 3.

The last boss of the Generic Quest, Genericfillername, has a 100% drop chance on Rubies (note: boss can only be killed once).

You can get a Ruby at the Mercenary Defense after beating level 7 (can be done multiple times, but drop chance is only <2%).

The best way to get Rubys are to equip 4 Dice for each character and steal/kill enemies in hard X locations or boss fights such as the battle arena. Steal a Ruby is pretty unheard of, but with 4 Dice they are by all means possible drops.

If it helps any, I just found a Ruby in a chest on Desolate Floor 2

The last battle arena critters are also a nice way to get them, just got my third there. (Not bosses;, the normal monsters. Just aoe the hell out of them and you get tons of cash, items and SP quickly)
