Can I get the actual ability to attempt to stael items on more than the one character who begins with it?

I'd love it if I could prioritize placing the skill on at least one more character as well so I could focus stealing items at the beginning of fights.

Everyone starts with a predetermined class and after finishing it, as you can masterise 2 classes of the same level on the first cycle, then after completing Slayer class for D and Elementalist class for Mari, you can choose at will to put any of them as thief if desired.

Kaz when joining however starts with no class selected and you can freely choose his first class. So if you desire, you can put him as thief first then another class of the same level afterward or vice-versa.

Thanks. I restarted and am taking thief as second class for D as well, so I'll have two people with steal early game and three later on, which is more than enough.. plus all that speed is nice.

You could just get the Class Level of the Thief Crystal that just gives the Steal/Pilfer Skills if you are willing to do so anyway.
