Crossing belts - Confusing
Generally crossing belts always leaves me confused where each ingredient will go in which direction. I can have a setup with only 1 part with crossed belts and everything goes ok, but add a 2nd and everything goes haywire, the belts stop completely.

What we need is some kind of setting for crossed belts to tell them which ingredient to send where. Some kind of logic siwtch that we can toggle.

Or is the implication that we're not supposed to have corssed belts at all?

Holy ♥♥♥♥, this means that having just two sockets feeding two mixers IS possible.

One will do though? Mixers are 2 tick.

He probably means one socket for the base ingredient of the mixer, and the other for the non-base ingredient.

Two sockets feeding two mixers is what you want so that you can get your line to produce 30/month

Right - I forgot we were talking about mixing two different ingredients for a second there.

It was a nice surprise for me also as I had not played this game for months and always felt something had to be added! They make planning out drug lines so much easier now :D

OP, this is a link to the Dev blog video that explains them pretty clearly. Although it's a long video so get comfortable ;)

yo, I remember Kerbal Space Programm, where I spend 20 hours on building rockets and trying to figure out, why the word I would not gain sience by any means. Against all my inner defenses to do so, I googled and found, that I had to right click one of those sience panels. Feeling was between "omg, I am so dumb" and "omg, all that time (kinda) wasted.
To the topic: I have noticed you can see crossing belts on the starting screen and started experimenting around, still goes haywire. So does my Mulitmixer on every occassion I don't plan everything to perfection. That`s the challenge of the game. Just like RT, win the game, play again, do it better, repeat.

It is not necessary to cross belts to feed two mixers from two outlets. This setup will allow you to sell 30 a month from a mixed drug with 4 outlets total. Crossing belts will allow you to only use 3 outlets so I guess that would be an optimal setup.

In this setup you must set the mixers to different settings as the base drug will come in on top on one and the bottom on the other.

I feel crossing belts should have been really covered in one of the tutorials. It just plain changes the way you can build 2 or 3-turn chains, and if I had not seen this forum post I might never have thought about trying it.

Unless I just didn't read the tutorial properly, which I was sure I did. Then just forget I ever said anything.
