Run-time Error '339'

Get up to selecting a promotion, but cant get past that as i get the Error messege 339

"Component 'OvsBooleanControl.ocx" or one of its dependents not correctly regestered. A file is missing or Invalid.

Ive tried to uninstall and re-install the game, and used the Graydog forum, but still have the problem..... Can anyone Help

What are you running your game on (Windows/Linux/Mac)??

Here is what I got from the forums

"When trying to play the game, I get Runtime Error 429, Runtime Error 383, Runtime Error 339, or Runtime Error -2147024770 (8007007e)..."

First uninstall then reinstall the game, in case it didn't finish installing the DLL files correctly the first time. If that doesn't work, click Run from your Windows Start menu, and type:

Regsvr32 scrrun.dll (and press enter)
Regsvr32 dx8vb.dll (and press enter)
Regsvr32 ovsbooleancontrols.ocx (and press enter)

You should now be able to play the game.

Running Windows, I cant find the way to "run from your windows start menu" obviously I baught it from steam, does that make a difference ??

I have Windows 8 and I use the windows key + 8 to open run. (The key between ctrl and alt on bottom left of keyboard... make sure to hold that button down and press 8).

No achievement start the game beyond the initial choice.
I can think of the problem described here and given me the solution does not fix anything.

What Candynuts said worked for me, reloaded and ran as admin, sorted it out, even managed to install mods and have some fun with it

I had the same problem, I contacted Adam Ryland via Facebook and he emailed me over the things I needed :)

I went into the game files and into the folder TEW and ran TEWsetup.exe and it started working for me
