Hello! The game features similar digging mechanics. We won’t hide the fact that we were indeed inspired by it, but this is not a copy.

However, we aim to deliver a completely different experience. Yes, you will still be searching for items underground, but this time in a cooperative setting, facing enemies both beneath the surface and above it.

We’re focusing on teamwork, strategic exploration, and dynamic encounters, offering players a fresh take on the genre with unique challenges and gameplay elements that set our game apart.

Thanks for your topic! Will wait more questions :)

to say who copies what, how, from where and from whom is honestly pointless because everyone copies/gets inspiration from everything and builds their own ideas on top of it or whatever is popular at the time

if you knew what everything was copied or which games you like are actually copies or eat

often the basic idea is there but people who like it and develop it further are better received by people and will always be like that

or hope for quick cash and copy it, which is very bad and lifeless

that doesn't just apply to games but in all areas, so I think if you don't like copies, there are people like that but use copies without knowing because they have no idea, then sell everything you have in life xd

you can't reinvent the wheel, you can only take the basic idea and add your own ideas to it

either it works or it doesn't

that's why asking about copies is a very pointless discussion in In my opinion, you shouldn't ask who is copying from whom, but whether the copies are implemented with their own ideas and whether they are happy about it.

For example, Fortnite copy, WoW copy, Call of Duty games copy, FIFA copy, all of that has already existed and always will, the first shooter, everything after it is a copy, everything that is based on it, such as MMOs, racers, platformers and the like, as in the future, depending on what is well received, will be copied more or less, the question is good or bad or a quick cash grab, but that is the case in every area.

Your cell phone is a copy, if you have a car it is a copy, the discussion can go on forever, but in the end it leads to nothing xd

The best thing is to use what you like and have fun, get rid of the idea that it is a copy and is bad as long as it is not a 1:1 copy and is so diverse with its own ideas and further development, it is cool because there is something for everyone

This is an excellent response, I completely agree with you. Huge thanks for your detailed message. Everything is exactly as you say, and we hope that our game won't just be considered a "copy" but rather a standalone, complete project within the genre.
I used to think that everything was a copy, copies are bad, why do people copy, yes, I was stupid

until someone explained it to me in detail and I thought about it and then I realized that copies are not bad, every new invention is always bad at first, then the next one comes along and develops it further and with advanced technology and new ideas and possibilities you have, you can develop it further with new approaches and so on

the stupid thing is that copies are often badly made just to make money quickly (be honest with games, big developers and internal problems, nothing changes in the end, small games buy devs or buy a lot and the buggy game has everything), people cry because early game in-game shop but buy packs in FIFA

if you like it, great, but you have to find the gems for yourself among the copies

like indie games, lots of cash Grab early games where developers disappear, which is sad, but there are also a lot of people who work on it with their heart and soul and it's really cool

The only thing you can hope for is that you don't get bugs that make the game unplayable, but that will happen with all games, some have no bugs, some funny bugs and some unfortunately have the worst card that they're mad because they're unplayable or the save is gone, I can understand that but whining doesn't help, just describe the problem objectively and in as much detail as possible

If you play with mods and the save is gone after the update, screw them in early games, you take your own risk with the mod

(I had the same problem with Borderlands 3, unplayable for a year because random updates, no matter what setting, it increased the fps drop and ping after a short time, but after a year and a random patch it worked again)

And as for bugs, come on, anyone who gets upset about bugs and cries in the forums doesn't know that there is no game without bugs, there are no such things, it's just that they were less noticeable back then than they are today and games become bigger and depending on how well you work on the game on source code
people will say it's a copy anyway and if I were a dev I would think, well, screw it, think that you're playing your favorite game which is also a copy, as with all things you can't prevent it, I think like that too and I know better and think ah, it's like in the sgame, it looks like in this game and so on, the question is always how it was implemented :D xd

just do your thing and don't let yourself be stressed by negative forum people who just insult you, they'll come anyway like in every game because tik tokd crushes as horn, if you can't write or argue properly, you'll insult people xd

Great perspective! I totally agree that there's no need to fear copies - what matters is that developers put their heart into the game and build on ideas, rather than just making a quick cash grab. And about bugs -you’re right, there’s no such thing as a completely bug-free game, but the important thing is that developers fix them. Either way, thanks for the detailed comment, it’s nice to see people who understand how things really work!

I’m working on a game myself, and I know how hard it is to get everything right. I'll do my best to keep game-breaking bugs to a minimum, but if something does go wrong, I hope the community supports the game rather than just tearing it down. Thanks for the reasonable take!

I was an idiot back then too and thought who wants to play copies when the original is there until someone from the forum explained to me hey look around carefully and look at both games what came before in the end in every category is a further development of the first in all things that exist even the human being is a modified copy 2 DNAs developed further with their own personality if you want to go deeper

these days it is impossible to do something new except find a new term for it then the rest of it is also a copy, even words have different names with the same meaning or languages when I think like Berliner has several names for the same food oh man just one of the things xd

I mean you can't prevent bugs just like since the beginning of games no game is bug free or 100% bug free you can only try to minimize them until the patch content update then new bugs come endless cycle xd as long as you have fun everything is fine rest It happens automatically, you don't have to do everything right and you can't, something unexpected will always happen, no matter what form it takes, don't let it stress you out, but negative things will come one way or another, like in every game or every post someone has made, be it bad day, trolling or intentional, nothing constructive, just ignoring it doesn't do anything, I don't exclude myself from that, when I have a bad day I write ♥♥♥♥ to my friends too xd :D
Dracov2011 Feb 21 @ 11:51pm
I wish you success in any case and that there are no negative posts, I'm not saying as little as possible, you can't hope for anything else these days with many people's attitudes and snowflakes personality xd

I'm looking forward to the demo and will buy it when it's released

Thanks for your support and thoughtful insights! I completely agree that everything new is just an improved version of something old, and bugs have always been around—what really matters is that the game is fun. I’m doing my best to minimize them, but perfection is impossible, and that’s okay. Glad you’re looking forward to the demo—I hope you’ll enjoy it! 😊

Thank you for your comments! We'll do our best to meet your expectations
I'm just asking here to create a separate thread, which doesn't make sense tomorrow anyway, so I'll write it here

Question about the time, is there a time when the demo will come out tomorrow or is it some random tomorrow?
BOVL  [developer] Feb 23 @ 7:57am
Tomorrow, the game is expected to be released between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM (Bremen, Germany)
It might be earlier, I can't give an exact time yet, unfortunately
