Server creation and port forwarding problems

So im trying to create a server for me and my friends to play on, server set up works just fine, as localhost i can connect to it. However, my friends can't. I have portforwarded many times before and never had an issue but for some reason my DLINK DIR-810L router isnt opening up port 7350. If anyone can give me tips on how to sort this out it will be much appreciated :)

Maybe try using a different port for the server. There may be a conflict with the client install and the server install when using default ports. For example any incoming data packets could be sent to the Client install instead of the server. The game after all is in very early alpha

How do you know the port isnt open. Have you tried checking with an app, for example

ive checked with canyouseeme.org lol it cant see it :p portforwarding.com doesnt list my router and it was the guide i originally consulted
