I just revealed it today and tried to redeem on my sons account and it says it's already been activated, have you revoked some keys

Every unredeemed key has been revoked and now shows as duplicate.

The developer was banned for scamming/mass producing keys for card/bot farming. It's not out of the question they sold keys to bundle sites AFTER activating them on Russian bot farms to farm trading cards. That's one possible explanation for why you might buy a key for the game and get told it's already activated.
