Character customization?

Does this game let me design my own character's physical appearance or not?

So far you can select Male or Female and the Sail design for your ships, but this is something a lot of us have been asking for! I started a thread here if you'd like to add your thoughts :)

Oh ok, thanks for the info. I don't have much to contribute myself but yeah its nice to see this sort of thing is being considered.

would be cool to add clothes/hats armor and whatnot :P

cant make my captain pretty enough, requires more customization, and also first mate customization
