Celestial Hammer - How good is it?
It seemed decent against pirates but not all that great. Am I wrong? I felt bad about keeping it, guess I'm playing a do gooder, but I'll backtrack a bit if it's some sort of super weapon in the game.

It is a pretty decent weapon for battling armored opponents if you do not have the later game weapons (Giant Blade, Obsidian Blade, Monster Part Weapons), but fits perfectly as that one weapon you would use against enemies with high hp or block constantly, since the lightning strike it causes can almost 1 shot anything from testing.

If the weapon does not work well for you, it is also an amazing weapon to give to one of your Marines that has a shield.

I sadly have to agree with you though, it seemed like such a good and interesting weapon but is overshadowed by many other weapons due to its low stats.

Thanks for the answer! I'm far off the hammer quest by now but it's nice to know that though it's unique and very useful, I did not miss out on something essential :) I was intending to play as a pirate but my guy has turned out to be too nice, many captains won't even join me because of my low infamy.

If you need to farm infamy, buy a sharpshooter and take control of him to snipe ship crew that have surrendered (white flag icon next to their health).

You should gain 1 infamy for the first few surrender kills. But do be careful with WHO you decide to use to farm infamy or you can have situations like this happen. (Check the minimap in the bottom right to see the full effect) https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1500960031
