Object disappeared

I was holding a key obtained in the Medical Office when I dropped it on the ground to interact with a menu in front of me.

After doing so, I looked to the ground to find it but it had disappeared. This key, I think, would open a supply locker so it would be nice to have it again.

I tried going back to the hub and back again to the medical bay but nothing changed.

Apologies; we have not seen objects fall through collision so we will have to try and reproduce it. Can you give us an idea what menu you were trying to interact with so we have a little direction as to where to try and drop it to reproduce the issue?

I have had objects fall through the floor as well. The first one for me was the pool cue.

I had exactly the same problem in the same situation and location, just right now. There isn't any solution? There is a way to load the game before that moment or if i saved i have to start the entire game again?
