turning down texture resolution would likely resolve it, but if not, emailing support@fullbrig.ht with system info & unity output log would be really helpful. thank you!
I have a GTX 1080ti a OC'd i7-8700k CPU and play on a 165hz G-Sync Monitor (if that matters).
I have all settings set to max. This game is extremely jittery/stutter-y for me. Some places will let up and it will be pretty smoother, and then back to the jitter.
I lowered the graphics to High and it made no difference. Turned off AA even, and no difference.
Should I be capping my frames on a game like this? How big are the Max and High textures? 4K? 2K? or 2K, 1K and even smaller than that for low?
This isn't really making sense to me. Should I try tuning off G-Sync for this game? In "The Long Dark" - another game made in Unity, I had to turn off G-Sync to achive stable framerate.
EDIT-UPDATE: Capping my frames at 120 (Because I don't think a game like this needs 165FPS anyway) and turning off G-Sync (for this game) has eliminated stutter/jitter.
Sorry for super late reply. I wasn't sub'd to discussion.
I haven't played since posting that message, but I assume all is still well. I did the same thing for another unity game as mentioned above, and it eliminated the sutter/jitter in that game as well. I use the RivaTunerStatisticsServer tool/app to cap frames in certain games.
Are you running a G-Sync monitor by chance? I feel that is where my problem mostly laid. I hope you have everything worked out :)
