Rocket Bug

Ihate to be the guy who always complains; but I guess that is me. I am super greatful that the developer fixed the 'hyper speed' issue, however we now have a new issue. The use of a rocket sends the line off the screen and flying forever; it never comes down. You can sometimes avoid this is you have the upgrade that lets you hold the mouse button to pull the line early.

Unfourtnately this makes getting a lot of the special fish past the coral reef basin impossible.

Also the cat swimming does not work, or I am too dumb to figure out how to make the cat swim. The cat just jumps in and then I have to close the game and open it again because the cat won't move.

I also am having the rocket bug... frustratingly enough it is the biggest bait that it happens to...

Yup, I have this issue as well. It just goes off the top of the screen, then flies off forever. I waited it out once (took a good 5 minutes for it to hit the water), it does end up in the water, but you have to reel in for another 5 minutes before you see any fish... very frustrating. And it keeps happening to me when my boat is full, too, so since the only solution is to close everything and restart the game, i lose a boatful of money every time...

Sometimes it helps if you drag the window, it brings the bait down faster. Seeing this and lots of other bugs, too.

I've used this before, and I've found multiple other glitches, exploits, and even a possible easter egg, connected to this. If you reel in the line with the space bar, keep holding after you're done reeling, and cast with the mouse, you can do a lot of cool things. I've tried every combination of rockets, bombs, bait, and hooks, and I've released the mouse, released the spacebar, done that and hit it again, and so on. It's an annoying glitch when you don't want it, but it's a fun glitch to play around with. I've used this to catch the sodafish. I've also dubbed it "The Momentum Glitch", (Patent Pending).

I had this problem just now and i was just about to complain about it on discussions..

I bought a rocket at night time and it went SHOOTING off too somewhere else.. i thought it was gonna come down but NOPE! It reached the ENDDDDDDD of the map and i actually posted a screenshot of part of what happened.. so yes this bug does need to be fixed

I hate how i always stupidly try it when my boat is half full and i got some expensive fish in there. and reeling with the space bar does nothing for me here... we need at least a "cancel cast" button or a way to access the menu or something because this bug is the worst. I can only close the game and restart at my last sale...

One thing I think It may be realted to (not a tested theory) is the rod enhancement that lets you click to stop the cast. A lot of the time when I try to stop a cast short, the line wants to keep going and it super slowly descends to the water.

i used this to catch a bo with a power rod and it got eaten ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
