So sorry for the late reply! I had this problem as well. You know that huge pit to the right of the coral basin, just before missile silo territory? If you wait til night, sometimes you can find a swisher hanging around the rock that sits on the left of its opening. If you need me to elaborate, let me know :P

The Swisher is the only fish I can't find. I've caught everything else. I can't even find a post online that shows me what color it is. I've been using the hat that makes quest fish show up red. I've spent a week looking for this thing. At day, night, and during storms. Can anyone give me any pointers?

Of course! You know that huge hole to the right of the coral basin, just before missile silo territory? You'll sometimes find a swisher hanging around the rock that sits on the left of its opening. If you don't, then wait til nightfall, close the game, and open the game. One should appear (Also, the swisher is a steely blue with darker blue fins, if I remember correctly. It's around the size of a cuddlefish)

Got it finally! It was a hair deeper than I was looking. I didn't expect it to be in the static part of the map. Thank you for the fantastic directions!

Really wish someone would post a picture of the location, as even looking at the map someone else posted doesn't really tell you much. I'm desperately trying to complete 3 more quests to get the Deep Sonar, but I really need the Deep Sonar to complete the quests! ughhhh

Found it exactly to the right from coral area swimming towards the deep. It's a light-blue little fish.

Its a small fish that swims deeper than most i go to the edge and cast down low almost to the dark and that is where i usually find them. Hope this helps
