i cant catch bombat

it swims towards the rock i have and just phases through. i have a quest to catch the bombat and the cave shark. cant do any of those and im 1 quest away from cool radar

bombat is catching bombs or those little silver balls

no it catches the bombs and dies not the rocks though

Yeah seems bugged at the moment for me too, when I have a rock attached the Bombats just swim right through my bait and won't attach. they will attach to a bomb however.

@Anton it's easy to get bombat.. Just go buy a bomb then let the bombat take it then after he does just cut ur line, you'LL see that the bomb won't explode. When you reach the surface just throw the line with bomb again.. now the bombat that u had will take the line so just reel it fast before the bomb explodes.

My bombat is bug too. No matter how hard i try it won't eat the silver rock.(it eat the bomb just fine)

And now i'm stuck as cave shark is my last fish.

Well, same here. I tried to restart the game couple times, but every time i see bombats ignoring my bait and swimming with light speed beyond the map and through rocks. In result there's no single bombat in my game and that sucks, because i've got 2 quests to catch bombat and cave shark...

I did. I was able to find 2 bombats after couple restarts and tried to do this with bomb as you said, but they've just instantly exploded after catching the bait with bomb :/

I'm really glad that u made it. np that was my pleasure :)

The bad thing about this bug ( I gues it is one) is that we can't catch cave shark. That is only for quests anyways.
