How the hell do you not get stuck in this game?

I played the game for 20 minutes and got stuck because there were literally 0 fish that i was able to reach anymore and the only fish that i COULD reach required a bigger bait which i couldn't get because there were no small fish around. I quickly run out of money and then, what? You can't upgrade your rod or do anything you are literally stuck. How the ♥♥♥♥ are you supposed to progress in this garbage? Why don't new fish spawn? This is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stupid.

Abdonware? It's been out for years. I'm almost a level 60, over 55 hours playing, and almost $6 MILLION dollars. Still don't have all the fish or hats and secrets. It's a great game! I've only ran into a few small bugs but nothing a restart won't fix.

You can't even get past the first 5 minutes because you get instant stuck. Its impossible to beat.

Hi I have been waiting for more fish...been playing for twenty minutes, wont let me do anthing at all...I have over 1,000 yet can't click on the shop to but bigger bait which is what it keeps telling me I need??? can any1please help??

id sugest watching some youtube vids of how some others start off.. then you will go.. OH. i had the same issue at first.

I am having this exact same problem. How do you catch a mustardfish when you can't get bigger bait?

When you catch a small fish, you cast it back into the water. It'll be bigger bait. You start with small bait, when you catch and re-cast a small fish it becomes medium bait, and when you re-cast a medium fish it becomes large bait. Re-casting large fish releases them back into the water, same with huge fish.
