Thanks man, It's hard to hear someone call me a cheater, especially when my whole existence here revolves around being better than the cheaters.
What's annoying is when people don't understand the game, then violate TOS by making accusations of cheating against specific players. This isn't a cheat, and I don't really appreciate you singling out AVA and I when there are many of other players, that play on PC as well, that have heavy tanks just like we have. It's not a hack, or cheat.......
Others, usually those with low experience but not always, use the shoot-n-smash technique frequently in attempts to win events.
Personally I like a 'clean' game and try to run races as if it was real, where you would be disqualified for such things.
I'm using a windows computer and a keyboard, which obviously allows you to press several buttons at once. So if you're on a mobile device, you might have difficulty doing that. That's the only thing I can think of as to why there's a platform difference.
When I get hit into the air, I'm using the direction keys for air control, and any available nitro to alter where and how I land. Same thing if I'm hit and stay on the ground. I'm pushing toward the direction of the hit, trying reduce its impact, or to simply stay on the platform. You have to be quick though, and it can only affect the tank so much.
Where you get hit and which way you're traveling is also important. The tank shells also have a lot of splash damage. If someone is moving toward you, instead of shooting straight on, shoot them low and and off to one side. That's more likely to knock them off the platform. A direct hit from a short distance when your target isn't moving won't do much of anything.
If there is any sort of difference in how the tanks on different platforms react to hits, that's for the developers to sort out. I'm not convinced that's the whole problem. I really never noticed it until I started reading these kinds of posts.
I can't prove to you that I'm not using any cheats, short of getting the devs involved. There are several other players that are using the same methods. The less you die, the more time you have make kills. I'm not sure what else I can tell you. Let me know if you have any questions.
Hello, I would like to know what you think of tanks that hardly react to our shots, like robot tanks. They don't take off as high as you do. They don't fly high. I tried everything, not touching the keys, using as much nitro as possible, going against the enemy fire, it didn't change anything for me: I really fly higher than other tanks. Among players like these there are: Rapax, Shype, TypeD, etc. they don't move much when I shoot them. I use a classic tank, and sometimes the heavy tank when I face classic tanks that react like heavy tanks ...
And take a look at the reload times. I use the regular Tank, also the other one. We shoot exactly at the same time, the other one of the mentioned three can shoot again a lot faster than me, without picking up a fast fire crate. Maybe I am wrong, maybe the netcode is not so good (okok...euphemism :D). I don't like yo yell "Cheat0r!!!", but this is what I see on the screen.
