Reject or eliminate?
Why is there the reject button if you have to eliminate the doppelgangers according to the ranking?

I use it when I accidentally let a doppelganger in their appartment before, so they don't get killed! :)

Yeah this confuses me too. If i'm supposed to eliminate the doppelgangers why can I reject them instead? What does that do? Do I not have to complete the check list then? Cause if I do I can't then eliminate them.

Reject is for when you not sure is someone is a dopple and you don't wanna risk it or if you know that you let a dopple inside and you don't want the real guys get killed

When you encounter a dopple you no need to do the checklist at all, just banish them with the ddd button
The checklist will be automatically done by the game and you can see it in the end of the day
Use the checklist only if you want let someone inside or you want to reject it.

I think rejecting is a good learning tool when you in the beginning of the game, again if you dont want accidentally kill someone

Reject is useful if you know you made a mistake before and let a Doppel in.
In apartments with more than one tenant if both are out you can save the real ones by rejecting them afterwards.
Or in single apartments if you let the Doppel in first and found the real person afterwards.

So I use reject for things like they claim to have forgotten their entry permit and there's no one home to confirm. I reject in case they're human and genuinely did forget. It lowers your rank though so I don't know if you're meant to take their word for it.
Usually if they forgot stuff in home and no one can confirm, is usually the real one, I wanna say, is almost always the real one, actually
Dopples always brings both docs tbh

If there is nobody home and they forgot things you can let them in assuming all the data on what they do bring is correct.
