can't play on steamdeck

Is anyone else using a steamdeck having an issue opening the game? I can play other games on here perfectly fine, but not tnmn for some reason. It just won't boot up, it starts to but cancels and I don't understand why

Nope, loaded no problem on mine, I just have to use trackpad and triggers for mouse control. I added a middle button to the layout too. Not sure what to suggest to make it work, it started with no additional work on my side. Maybe verify files and restart the steam deck? EDIT: And make sure Proton and steam deck are up to date.

Thank you! Everything's up to date but some of my files didn't download correctly, problem has been fixed and I can now open the game just fine

I'm glad that fixed. This is one of the first things I do when troubleshooting a game.
