Absolutely fantastic game made by a single developer. Great blend of rogue lite deckbuilder and word game. I used to play text twist obsessively back in the day and this hits the same sweet spot but with much better gamification and a really addictive gameplay loop.
There could be a little more clarity in terms of how the mechanics work, but it's easy enough to suss out after a few runs.
Highly recommended!

Have it on mobile and had to buy it as soon as it was released. Love Balatro and love Scrabble so this is right up my alley. So 5 stars! (played loads on mobile and have started playing on steam deck and pc)

Having said that, please please make ALL the elements in the UI larger and more readable! Strains my eyes a lot! Not all of us are young!

I don't often leave reviews, the dev seems super nice and kindly gave me a key so it's the least I could do.

Overall, I really enjoy this. There are a lot of these kinds of games cropping up, each with their own twists and takes on an established game or genre. I feel like I'm dining well at the minute!

Letterlike is solid and accomplished. I don't really play mobile games so it totally passed me by, but I can feel it getting its teeth in. Each time I'm looking at my games list I'm drawn to start it back up and do better than last time. There are others going for the Scrabble theme, but I've found I enjoy this most because I'm playing and learning the mechanics, rather than struggling to make words. It's what you do with them that counts.

I think the only negative for me is around the UI. It feels super spaced out visually. I assume this works well on a smaller screen but on a larger one less so. An option to scale the font/UI would be nice, my eyes aren't what they once were. 🤓
I also get a little lost around the UI at times and need to feel around to find a menu that I *think* I've seen before but not sure where it is. Aesthetically it looks really nice and well made, but little things like the 'Next' button to leave the shop being tucked away amongst the upgrade buttons and a grey colour are a little unintuitive, or icons that could use tooltips or text on them to be clearer. The type of thing you learn once you've done it a few times but might forget if you take a break.
