Map load crash

Whenever i start game it loads a littler more then half and then it beeps and crashes.

Go to the my documents > my games > COH relaunch > playback and delete the file called temp.rec

I think its becasue of my 4gb ram what do you think

If you think its becuase of my ram then will blitzkrieg or eastern front work(have tried great war 1918 it works its good but its not what i want)

It could also be from your video card if it's underpowered.

I fixed the problem long ago probably 8 months ago. When i changed from 32 bit windows 7 to 64 bit the problem was fixed.

Hi. Thanks for the mod ! I'm getting this as well. I have a AMD R9 380 4gig RAM, Intel i5 4690k and 8gigs of RAM. I've had better launch success with Ardennes. But everything else loads to a pink screen and/or just goes back to the main menu. Otherwise the map will load two thirds and then crash with the error at the top of the thread. I can play all other mods OK without this problem. Blitzkreig. Modern Combat. Battle of Crete. I tried the "temp.rec" thing both deleting the file AND making a read only text file of it. This is definetely something specific to this mod that is not fixed by the temp.rec fix. Really like this mod, so it would be nice to get it fixed !

To follow up. I finally tried "verify game cache" for both COH New Version and EAW. 158 files needed downloading for COH, 1 for EAW and now everything seems to be working again. I tried 3 maps and they all loaded without crashing. The "verify cache" thing should probably be in big red letters at the top of the forum, mod site or whatever as I only ever found the "temp.rec" thing. Maybe I missed it. Don't know.
