Polar H7 connection issue
My Polar H7 seems to fairly inconsistent with connectingwith Nevermind. I know the battery and the device work properly and I can test it through the bluetooth on my phone, but most the time there is an issue with it connecting with the game.

Under thwe heart rate companion in the local file I can see that the device is seen. When I select it will say "connect success" I will have one green dot for the antenna but a red X for the sensor status and no data for BPM. After trying to reconnect, rescan, restart computer, etc I will inexplicably start getting data and both green dots, at which point I launch the game and play. After that, I have no problem remaining connected as long as I play the game. I'm not sure what the issue is or how I sometimes get around it.

Thank you for your help,
Tom

Hi Tom,

Sorry to hear you're experiencing connection issues with your Polar H7! We've found that some PCs sometimes need to have the sensor manually paired with it before each session - it sounds like that may be the case in this instance. If so, while it can be a pain to have to do before starting the game, luckily it's a relatively straightforward process:

  1. Open the Windows Operating System Bluetooth utility. The Bluetooth utility can be accessed in the System Tray.
  2. Make sure that you're wearing the device and are seated near the PC
  3. You should see the Polar show up in the list. Select it and follow the directions.

That should get everything up and running without having to do the full restart process you described. Hopefully that helps, but let us know if it doesn't!
