1. New maps, hell you can have them procedural generated at this point with all the new building models made from MW5
2. eliminate the excessive costs for dumb stuff like different colors, make those c-bill vs what they are now (the actual name eludes me)
3. Updated graphics engine, with 4k, being that most people have VidCards that can easily handle it.
4. Make the actual universe that was utilized for Faction play as a fill in and then you can have more utilization for the random person to help on a constant. vs having prompts begging me for service at x planet. Let the game generate missions. Sector out a planet in different biomes and have that help with map type designation.
5. Unleash all the weapons per the year, along with mech mods etc..
6. Make Clan leaders able to develop a base with its own defenses, making it susceptible to attacks/raids.
These a but a small amount of things to improve on within MWO, much of what has been done in MW5 has a great starting point for fixes in MWO.
^^^Heck yes, I am feeling this^^^ :-)
Would it be too difficult to transfer the graphics from MW5 into MWO or the content from MWO into MW5? , I haven't played MW5 yet as i've been waiting for steam release, although i'm not sure why anymore because EPIC keeps giving me free games every few weeks and my library is filling up. Guess i'm starting to feel some love for that platform now. Smart business strategy?
"Wargame: Red Dragon" is free right now on EPIC, it's $39.99 on steam
Lol, you can tell this guy's a new player. =P New map? New game mechanics? New engine/graphic? Ahahaha
#1 priority should be Newbie tools & tutorials + balance changes
Take it from somebody on the casual spectrum with intimate appreciation and knowledge of the MW universe.
--This game fails to succeed or grab commercial attention because nobody wants to undertake the massive responsibility of understanding the meta, alone--
Being "good" requires understanding information & strategy never taught in-game.
Helpful hints & useful builds are unofficially scattered across the 4 corners of the internet; usually outdated, incomplete, or not easily accessible.
Only hardcore MMO's require this level of commitment and their database's far exceed this quality of the disjointedly "early 2000's internet like" MWO information.
Yup, this is pretty much why MWO fails. Even semi-experienced players with mechs are overwhelmed and would rather play something else.
There needs be more newbie tools and help.
