EDIT: OK, OK Got it. I was angry rambling for getting head-shoted 10 secs in to the game, by a guy that we just watched play completely goofy in the last games.
It did not make any sense.
As for the % I used. yeah, no.
But there are some instances that are very, very fishy; referring to the head-shots on light and medium mechs from ridiculous distances.
As for those that claim that there are no cheats in 2025; LOL, sleep tight.
TTB has live videos of cheaters he caught using AIMBOT, so argue against that please.

its probably not cheaters. im rank 5 but i get matched with other ranks too. i believe its just much more skilled players getting matched with crap players like me.
ive been doing some spectating after i die and watching how players play. most people cant aim for ♥♥♥♥. but then you see guy with pinpoint aim just sniping the ct. it feels like cheats, but its just someone who can aim.

I mean all games have cheaters, just, I mean, for real? In MWO? Someone is using an AIMBOT?...?....?


Why? What even is the point? Are people so bad they can't shoot a barn?

And as a side note folks who openly cheat tend to end up getting TK'd after a while. Just saying that is what happened back in the when.

Are there cheaters out there? Yes, absolutely. Did OP encounter one? Eh, probably not.

only one time i *think i encountered a aim botter. guy took 3 of us out while we were moving with headshots one after another in seconds with no missing and we never even saw him despite looking at where he was supposed to be. do i know he was hacking, no. do i think the situation was highly sus...very. reported and moved on, even though the reporting system is sus also lol

I've seen 5 videos that purported to show cheating.

Three of them, the players were banned.

One is unknown.

One was withdrawn by the poster because he must have been going through things in his life because the video was in no way indicative of anything even remotely suspicious.

I also find that there is a huge skill spread in T1. I don't think most players are equipped to understand what the top of T1 players can do.

I play consistently on NA side and have yet to see someone actively cheating. Most players in this game are older aged dudes with fancy mech joysticks and maybe mods for hud stuff. It is really not that common tbh.

If someone is getting consistent head shots they probably know what they are doing. Rifleman II C with large pulse lasers. runs hot but you can cockpit kill light mechs.

Given the amount of times someone in a big mech has NOT TURNED AROUND AFTER 40 DAMAGE GOES INTO THEIR BACK, I am not surprised people are standing still long enough to get their head taken off.

If I can gut a Kodiak's side torsos from behind while they walk obliviously forward, that's probably not on me.

i faced a guy thats shooting forward and then suddenly arm swivels to me at a 90 degree angle and shoots with laz0rs after a random snipe.


But mostly I see very few sus cases.

I would be willing to accept that some amount of it goes on without me noticing, but 20% of players seems like a very high number.
