something i really want this game to have...: respawn
just fight till times up who ever killed the most wins or capture the flag (flag will reduce speed of a mech to 45KPH)

another i wish : public servers
a server where you can install plugins and set gamemode + map...just like in team fortress 2 community server

It exists in Faction Play and any Event Queue that uses Drop Decks.

Not quite, but you can pick mode and map in private lobbies.
I find that the less experience you have in gaming the MORE you will like respawn modes more. I personally detest them for the most part and think that just like with CSgo2 RB6Seige and THIS GAME HERE it is part of what makes MOST experiences gamers like myself gravitate towards these titles. STILL glad that you can get variety and ETC. such as what you want by doing private lobbies. Yet look at it this way, I just bought ALL the battlefields series pretty much (except hardline which is just plain broken), and guess what? All those games are PURE FILLED with respawn modes such as You (and the younger crowd I will surmise due to less experience) modes and the ONE mode that is similar to those other famous games I mentioned (firestorm) is basically utterly empty/deserted. So the games are basically UNPLAYABLE to a vet like myself who wants challenge/strategy over simple rush modes. So yeah, if I ever come back to THIS game, it surely will be one of the reasons, as I appreciated the ONE LIFE mode. This IS a great game!
Really they just need to remove all the bs and make 1 queue button that plays the drop deck mode. It's there, it's fun, we mostly dont play it because queuing is annoying and complicated
bad takes are bad
the maps are at least 20 times to small to have respawns, also all games that have respawns deal with 2 big problems
1. people don't care about death, they just go again with partial knowledge of the situation they died in (if the map is small that is like cheating, you know which mechs are 1 shot which ones aren't, stupid game concept)
2. spawn camping

if you ever played faction war mode fr, you know what i mean, even those maps are to small and don't have a good spawn camp protection

there is a reason why CS is still one of the very best shoters out there (all it's missing is true ads and a bit cqb, and good anti cheat)

one life modes ----> everything else

I would really like the eject button to work and run around as a foot soldier until I am really dead.

If you are in a cored useless mech you would have options to throw some grenades or attach explosives to mechs feet or something to help immersion and shoot the other foot soldiers trying to sneak around if you see them.

Could have like a snipe rifle and explosives until you are dead. The game could still end when the other team has no armor left but it would be something to do until it does and since you waited to get in the game that should be the final place of your death if you choose it.

One respawn would be nice on those matches where you turn a wrong corner and get alphaed by most of the team.....i really dont think one respawn would change the game to much. there would still be the odd spawn camp when a team just gets destroyed but i dont think it would be all that more common than the fast wipes that already happen.
Sadly i think it would mess up matchmaking. i play late night early morning and i have to wait around 4-5 min in queue. i know im waiting on a match to end and everyone rejoin the queue...so.....add another respawn and there would be longer matches and longer wait times.

I want a big Battlefield map with points like Planetside 2 or Battlefield...titan fall 2....I mean MWLL incorporated into this game woulda been cool

After playing this grand conquest event, i dont like having a drop deck with 4 mechs to spawn in. it just locks you out of 4 mechs for the remainder of the match. maybe its just the map, maybe its just players wanting to camp spawns. but having a cap point right where you spawn just makes it to where its ALWAYS gonna happen.

I mean I have 30+ mechs so put them to work, you don't have to participate, I think this game needs 2 queues 1 for regular play 1 for drop deck play. both have big and small maps.
and yea its the more casual mode, it's hard to balance the mech pilot who just died in an ambush getting into another mech and driving back to where he left his half damaged adversary. It's really just dragging the game out, but sometimes that's fun.

Plus there's no other way I'm going to get more than 12 kills in a mech sooooo

i just had a match 2 days ago where a dude got 11 kills on my team in a locust he did 800+ dmg i did 700+ we were the last survivers and won, a heavy "stole" his 12th kill earlier and died shortly after
that being said i only have the ace of spades myself (8kills) got it in an 8v8 tho with Highlander years ago
maybe if you are luckier then me and the locust pilot you can get 12

the game has a respawn mode, faction play, it's not well done, why it's not played much, tho you can't go on foot

if you want that maybe play Titanfall 2 (that only works for some people, because it has bugs where people with certain processors can't play it's multiplayer)
or look into the crisis mod Mechwarrior Living Legends, but i think that one might be pretty dead

1 live modes beats respawn modes 1000 out of 10 times

As long as your suggestion does not negatively affect my wait times, yeah dude, go for it.

But the moment it does, there will be VEHEMENT opposition.

more or less, but not quite. they've still got a group that plays on weekends and a decent sized community. they're welcoming new players when they can, i got into it a few weeks ago and its been fun.

Drop deck EQ: Exists.
yeah I opened it to snarkily post, we r doing it right now, drop deck size is really light, so I got 2 mediums 2 lights, which would be interesting bc i think it can be heavies
